Biography

Thando has a friendly and outgoing personality that immediately puts clients and colleagues at ease. Professionally, he is a very serious attorney. He gets the job done and works well under pressure. His clients come first and he is available to take their calls and update them on their matters any time of the day. He makes sure that he is accessible to clients from the moment their files are opened until their matters are settled and their files are closed. His motivation and drive comes from knowing that he has done the best for his clients.

Thando obtained an LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN) and joined KHR as a candidate attorney in 2016. He was promoted to the position of Senior Associate in 2021. His areas of expertise include drafting of legal opinions, drafting of contracts, High Court and Magistrate’s Court civil litigation, debt collection and recoveries, insurance law and family law.

Explaining why the firm is his employer of choice, Thando says, “KHR is more than a company. It is a family. We treat each other with the utmost respect. We make sure that there is time to work and time to play. KHR offers emotional and physical support to its staff whenever they are going through difficult times.”

When it is time to knock off and unwind, Thando enjoys watching soccer, reading and socializing.
